We are pleased that you are interested in our Empress Elisabeth Museum in the historic Possenhofen train station.

Our museum is the only one of its kind in Germany.

The young Elisabeth spent the summertime in Possenhofen Castle with her parents and siblings. They and their family members as well as kings and the emperor and the nobility used the preciously decorated waiting salon, one of our four museum rooms, for their arrival and departure.

You will be amazed what treasures we can show you.

We offer special tours that are very individual. These take about 1 hour. Appointments can be booked all year round.
